Christopher J. Rizza
Newest Partner to Join LA Offices
Continuing the strategic expansion of its Los Angeles offices, Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3), a San Diego-based commercial real estate law firm, has recruited Christopher J. Rizza as its newest partner. Rizza was previously a partner with Elkins Kalt in Los Angeles.
According to CGS3 partner David Alvarado, Rizza's addition to CGS3 is instrumental in expanding the firm's ability to provide exceptional responsiveness and overall client experience to its clients in the greater Los Angeles area.
"Chris is an exceptionally talented and knowledgeable attorney who will be a critical resource for our clients in LA and beyond," Alvarado said. "He brings outstanding business acumen, deep knowledge of commercial real estate and a real-world approach to closing deals – all of which embody CGS3's business philosophy. We are very proud to have Chris join our team."
Rizza concentrates his practice on leases, acquisitions, dispositions, development agreements and related real estate transactions spanning across all the major asset classes including industrial, retail, office and mixed use. On the landlord/developer side, he represents a "who's who" among REITs, institutional investors, pension funds and development companies. On the tenant side, he represents national and regional tenants, as well as individual closely held businesses.
Most recently, he was a partner with Elkins Kalt Weintraub Reuben Gartside LLP, where he worked for six years, handling a full gamut of high-profile industrial, office and retail transactions.
He holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, a J.D. from Loyola Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Rizza brings the total attorney headcount of CGS3 to 24, plus seven paralegals.
